Works with school teachers and administrators to address problems that affect student performance, and identifies resources for students and families. Helps high school students to plan academic course work and advises on the college search and application process.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development. ## Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Assist students in developing academic and career goals
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student success
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs
- Implement programs to promote mental health and well-being
- Address behavioral issues and provide intervention strategies
- Organize and lead educational workshops for students ## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- State certification as a School Counselor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of childhood development and educational psychology
- Experience in classroom management and counseling techniques
- Familiarity with Christian counseling principles (preferred)
- First aid certification (preferred)
- Experience in tutoring, childcare, or camp counseling is a plus
