An Academic or Guidance Counselor provides guidance to students in elementary, middle and high schools to help them succeed academically and socially. Works with school teachers and administrators to address problems that affect student performance, and identifies resources for students and families. Helps high school students to plan academic course work and advises on the college search and application process.

At the elementary school level, provide both individual and school-wide services that directly impact on classroom instruction, behavior management, student safety, family support, and community relations. This includes teaching classroom lessons, running groups, providing resources to staff and families and being part of the MTSS process.Qualifications:
Current NJ DOE Certification Experience:
School-based experience preferred. 2026- 2027

Base Salary:
$67,380.00- $108,300.
