Job Description

Walpole Public Schools is seeking an Extended-Day 1:1 Aide at Boyden Elementary School, Wednesdays only, 3:00 to 6:00pm, effective immediately for the 2026-2027 school year.
Summary:
To provide social and behavioral support to specific students with high-need disabilities within the Extended Day program. Student assignment is determined by Extended Day and District administration. Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Ensuring a safe environment for the assigned student. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and potentially engage in moderate physical activity. Engaging the student in basic de-escalation techniques if the student is dysregulated. Consulting with extended day staff as needed regarding the student's needs. Reporting to extended day staff any issues or behaviors that would typically be reported to parents.
Qualifications:
College graduate preferred Safety Care trained preferred Ability to effectively engage students with high level of need due to disability Fingerprint verification required
