This role is light‑duty and centers on supervision, safety, and building meaningful connections with our students. The ideal candidate is patient, friendly, and enjoys being part of a program that feels like family. Our counselors help maintain a calm, structured atmosphere where children feel supported, respected, and encouraged each afternoon. Responsibilities Daily Supervision — Maintain a safe, attentive environment for children ages 5-12 during after‑school hours. Positive Engagement — Build warm, encouraging relationships with students and support our family‑centered culture. Light Guidance — Offer help when needed with small conflicts, transitions, or simple tasks. Safety Monitoring — Ensure children remain in designated areas and follow program expectations. Activity Support — Assist with simple games, enrichment activities, or quiet-time options as needed. Environment Stewardship — Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space (children clean up after themselves). Communication — Communicate professionally with staff and families when necessary. Role Modeling — Demonstrate kindness, patience, and respect consistent with The Jones Experience values. You'll also have opportunities to grow within both The Jones Experience and Camp Crowe seasonal programs.
