In this role, you will support the social, emotional, and academic development of students in a safe and engaging after-school environment. You will work closely with children, parents, and staff to foster a positive space that encourages learning, creativity, and personal growth. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance and support to students during after-school hours, both individually and in group settings. Plan and facilitate interactive activities such as crafts, games, and academic enrichment. Assist students with homework and offer academic support as needed. Promote positive behavior and help students develop social and emotional skills. Collaborate with school staff and parents to identify student needs and communicate progress. Ensure a safe environment by following safety protocols and supervising all activities. Maintain accurate attendance and progress records for students. Qualifications & Skills A strong interest in working with children and helping them succeed. Experience in babysitting, tutoring, or childcare is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with child development and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of basic first aid practices. Ability to engage children in a fun and educational way. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
