Job Description

Long Term Substitute Guidance Counselor- Crossroads Middle School (8/12/2026-9/18/2026) Must hold a valid Ohio Pupil Services certificate/license in school counseling. Provides direct and indirect services for students to provide a comprehensive guidance and counseling program designed to address the social, emotional, educational and occupational needs of all students. Will also be employed under an extended service contract for work before and after the designated school year. Must work cooperatively within a department of guidance counselors. Applicants that are offered a teaching position shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCI criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based upon the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the Fairfield City School District.
