Qualifications and Experience:

Valid counseling certification appropriate for K-12 educational settings Experience providing guidance, emotional support, and crisis intervention to students Strong skills in communication, empathy, and conflict resolution Ability to work collaboratively with families, staff, and administrators Familiarity with compliance guidelines and student confidentiality Adaptability and problem-solving skills to support diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver counseling services to a K-12 caseload, addressing academic, social, and behavioral issues Conduct individual and small group sessions to foster student engagement and growth Develop and implement guidance programs that promote wellbeing and personal development Respond to student crises, providing immediate support and coordinating further care as required Advocate for students needs through active collaboration with faculty and families Participate in meetings, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a caring school culture Guide students in goal setting, decision making, and college/career planning as appropriate This contract position runs full-time from 7:45AM to 4:00PM throughout the school year, offering a stable and engaging work routine.
