Fort Worth, TX Job Details Part-time $21 - $22 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Responsible for assisting teachers in maintaining a controlled classroom environment that is conducive for learning. Provides behavioral intervention and coordinates intervention efforts for student's academic, behavioral, social, and family needs. Ensures that all students have the opportunity to be successful by teaching and demonstrating problem solving and decision making skills using the classroom behavior management program, Boys Town Model ®. Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or other related field preferred. Experience working with at-risk youth preferred. Broad knowledge of community resources.
Other qualifications include:
Excellent human relations ability Strong oral and written skills Possess good judgement and decision making Able to remain calm during crisis situations Promotes an environment of cultural competency and responsiveness for students, families, staff, and collaborative partners Driver's license required. Must maintain auto insurance that meets the minimum limits required by the State of Texas. Must have a driving record which is within the guidelines of the insurance underwriter. Must not have been charged with or convicted of a criminal offense that would disable the employment by failing to meet minimum standards as set by Lena Pope Policies and Procedures.
