Job Description

Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in student lives as a School Counselor in a dynamic setting near Magnolia, TX. This long-term contract role offers the unique opportunity to work across several campuses, primarily with elementary and middle school students. You'll play a key part in supporting social, emotional, and academic development, collaborating with educators and families to create a positive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in Texas is required Experience providing counseling services to children or adolescents, preferably in school settings Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, faculty, and families Organized, adaptable, and able to manage a varied caseload across multiple locations Passion for fostering student growth and resilience
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group counseling to students referred for support, adapting methods to meet diverse needs Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student well-being and strategies for success Maintain accurate documentation and confidential records in line with Texas and school district policies Assist with crisis intervention and preventive programming as needed Actively participate in meetings and planning sessions to address school-wide counseling initiatives Travel between five campuses as assigned, maintaining a consistent presence and connection with students
