Job Description

This contract position offers the chance to work closely with elementary and middle school students across various campuses, helping to shape their academic success and personal development.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active LPC license valid in Texas. School counseling experience preferred, particularly with elementary and middle school students. Capability to manage a dynamic caseload across multiple campuses (approximately five). Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential matters with integrity and professionalism. Collaborative mindset for working with faculty, families, and students.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct counseling and support to students (caseload of around 30, across elementary and middle grades). Assist in social-emotional learning, crisis intervention, and development of individualized student support plans. Work with faculty and administration across up to five school campuses to ensure cohesive support for students' academic and social needs. Maintain detailed documentation for all counseling sessions and progress monitoring. Collaborate with families and outside service providers as needed. Support district-wide initiatives focused on student wellness and mental health.
