This role assists with treatment implementation, staff supervision, data review, caregiver coaching, and documentation while developing advanced clinical and leadership competencies. Assistant ABA Supervisors serve as emerging clinical leaders and are expected to model professionalism, ethical practice, and compassionate service delivery consistent with FAMOS Therapies' mission to Hear. Clinical Support and Service Oversight Assist the supervising BCBA with implementation and monitoring of individualized ABA treatment plans Support functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Conduct direct client observation and assist with program modification under supervision Ensure treatment implementation aligns with program goals, medical necessity, and payer requirements Model evidence‑based teaching procedures (e.g., DTT, NET, prompting hierarchies) 2. Supervision and Staff Support Support supervision of Behavior Support Specialists and RBTs under BCBA direction Assist with staff training, modeling, and competency development Provide real‑time feedback to supervisees to improve treatment fidelity Participate in onboarding and field training for new staff Support corrective feedback processes under supervision 3. Data Collection, Review, and Program Fidelity Review session data for accuracy, completeness, and trends Assist with data analysis to evaluate learner progress Monitor treatment fidelity across staff and environments Identify barriers to progress and communicate concerns to the supervising BCBA Support quality assurance efforts across assigned cases 4. Caregiver Training and Collaboration Assist with caregiver and parent training sessions as outlined in treatment plans Model strategies for caregivers in collaboration with the supervising BCBA Communicate respectfully, clearly, and professionally with families Support generalization and consistency of interventions across settings 5. Documentation and Compliance Assist with clinical documentation including progress summaries and session reviews Ensure session notes and supervision documentation meet company and payer standards Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times Accurately document clinical meetings, supervision activities, and administrative time 6. Communication, Scheduling, and Case Support Maintain consistent availability for assigned supervision responsibilities Communicate proactively with supervising BCBA regarding clinical needs or concerns Support coordination between clinical, administrative, and scheduling staff Assist with responding to incidents, parent concerns, or service disruptions 7. Ethics, Safety, and Professional Accountability Adhere to BACB Ethical Code and FAMOS Therapies policies Support safe and ethical service delivery across caseloads Report clinical, safety, or ethical concerns immediately Support a culture of accountability, learning, and professionalism 8. Professional Presentation, Communication, and Customer Service Assistant ABA Supervisors are expected to model the professional standards of FAMOS Therapies and support staff alignment with organizational values. Professional Appearance and Conduct Maintain professional attire and demeanor appropriate for clinical, home, and community settings Model professional behavior for direct‑care staff Professional Communication Use respectful, professional, and solution‑focused language Maintain appropriate tone in written documentation and communication Provide feedback constructively and supportively Customer Service Orientation Demonstrate empathy, responsiveness, and cultural responsiveness with families Support trust‑based partnerships with caregivers Represent FAMOS Therapies positively and consistently Professional presentation and customer service are considered essential components of performance. Minimum Qualifications BCaBA certification, BCBA candidate status, or enrollment in an approved ABA Master's program Or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field Minimum 2 years of ABA experience, including implementation of treatment plans Demonstrated understanding of ABA principles and data collection methods Additional Requirements Valid Infant/Child CPR certification TB clearance and current immunization records Background and fingerprint clearance Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and provide leadership support Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods Transportation Requirement Reliable transportation to client homes and community settings is required This requirement may be satisfied by: A valid California driver's license, or Compliance with the FAMOS Therapies Transportation Protocol, including submission of an approved transportation plan Certain assignments may require a valid driver's license based on operational or geographic needsAdditional Compensation & Benefits Paid training and supervision hours Ongoing professional development and mentorship toward BCBA advancement Opportunities for advancement into ABA Supervisor roles Flexible scheduling within clinical needs Health, PTO, sick leave, and holiday benefits per employment status and California law Monthly cell phone stipend (if applicable) Schedule Expectations Full‑
