Job Description

Job Summary:
Divine is seeking compassionate and motivated Employment Mentors to support individuals with developmental disabilities in building employment skills, enhancing self-advocacy, and achieving workplace success. Mentors work closely with clients to identify strengths, overcome barriers, and reach their highest potential through personalized guidance, job coaching, and career development support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support in Pre-Employment, Job Development, Vocational Training, Volunteerism, and Self-Advocacy. Work with clients in a 1:3 and 1:1 ratio, developing daily/weekly/monthly plans tailored to individual needs. Assist with job coaching, workplace accommodations, mobility training (public transportation), and ISP participation. Monitor client progress and complete all required documentation, reports, and compliance requirements (SCLARC, DDS, HIPAA). Help clients identify goals and address barriers to employment. Foster independence, motivation, and self-confidence.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or 6+ months of relevant experience Valid CA Driver's License, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle CPR & First Aid Certification (current) Proof of negative TB test DOJ/Federal background clearance Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently, remain calm in crisis, and solve problems effectively Proficient in

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
