Pay Rate:
$21/hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Supported Employment Job Coach to help individuals with developmental disabilities succeed in competitive employment. The position provides hands-on job coaching, training, and workplace support at community job sites throughout Napa and Solano Counties. The Job Coach helps individuals complete job duties, meet employment goals, develop workplace skills, and build successful relationships with employers. The role also includes identifying new employment opportunities and providing ongoing support to individuals and businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on job coaching, training, and support to individuals at community job sites. Help individuals complete job duties safely, accurately, and on time. Support individuals in achieving employment and workplace goals. Teach and reinforce workplace skills, work habits, communication, and independence. Build positive relationships with employers and coworkers. Identify and address workplace challenges, accommodations, and training needs. Develop and maintain employment opportunities with local businesses. Monitor individual progress and maintain accurate documentation and case notes. Maintain a professional, respectful, and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Valid California Driver's license with a clear driving record Cleared fingerprint/background test required Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test required Negative TB test and medical examination required Experience working with individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment preferred First Aid certified or willing to become certified required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Respond well to direction and work effectively with others Work cooperatively with staff and provide excellent care for employees with disabilities
