Community and Partnership Specialist Vocational School Santa Ana, CA Job Details Full-time From $30 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Spanish English High school diploma or GED Business development Driver's License Full Job Description Community and Partnership Specialist HealthStaff Training Institute (HSTi) About the Role HSTi is looking for an outgoing, relationship-driven Community and Partnership Specialist to connect with workers' compensation attorneys, claims professionals, medical offices, and rehabilitation counselors across Southern California. In this role, you'll educate referral partners on HSTi's vocational training programs and help eligible injured workers understand how they may use a California Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit (SJDB) voucher for approved training. What You'll Do Visit workers' compensation law firms, medical offices, and other referral sources throughout your assigned territory, introducing HSTi and its vocational training options. Build and maintain relationships with attorneys, paralegals, claims professionals, and rehabilitation counselors. Identify new referral partners through networking, field research, and industry events. Schedule and deliver presentations, office visits, and lunch-and-learns; provide approved marketing materials and program information. Explain HSTi's online, hybrid, and campus-based programs, schedules, and enrollment steps clearly and accurately, without promising voucher eligibility, approval, employment, or income. Obtain permission from prospective students before sharing their information with HSTi admissions. Attend workers' compensation and legal networking events, and coordinate with HSTi's admissions, marketing, and career services teams. Track all visits, contacts, and referrals in HSTi's CRM, and submit weekly activity reports. Meet outreach, referral, and enrollment-support goals while representing HSTi professionally. What We're Looking For 2+ years in field marketing, outside sales, business development, community outreach, legal services, vocational rehabilitation, healthcare, or education. Workers' compensation or legal-industry experience strongly preferred; existing relationships with workers' comp attorneys or law firms are a plus. Strong in-person communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills; comfortable with cold office visits. Able to explain programs and funding options accurately without giving legal advice. Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital scheduling tools. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred. Job Details Full-time, non-exempt | 40 hours/week, primarily Monday-Friday Field-based role with regular office and campus meetings; territory covers Southern California and other assigned service areas This position requires frequent daily travel to law firms, medical offices, and events across the territory, so a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance are required; mileage is reimbursed per company policy for approved business travel
Pay:
$30-33/hour, plus performance-based bonusBenefits:
