r44456-95201 Job Description Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Young Adult Transition Program | Stockton, CA ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician for a unique school-based transition program in the Stockton, California area. This position works with high school-aged students and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other disabilities as they transition from school into adulthood. Rather than a traditional classroom-only RBT position, youll help students develop the behavioral, social, vocational, and independent-living skills they need to become more successful in the real world. Were looking for someone who understands ABA, has previously worked as an RBT, and genuinely enjoys working with older students and young adults. Position Details 30 hours per week MondayFriday 6 hours per day Young adult / transition-age program On-site in the Stockton, CA area Consistent daytime school schedule Weekly paychecks What You'll Be Doing Youll work directly with students with ASD and other developmental disabilities as they build greater independence. Depending on the individual, support may include vocational and employment-readiness skills, community participation, communication, appropriate social behavior, daily routines, independent-living skills, behavioral interventions, and helping students generalize skills outside of a traditional classroom environment. This is a hands-on role, so candidates should be comfortable working directly with students who may have moderate to significant behavioral or developmental needs.
