Job Overview Remember Just Thrive (RJT) is a person-centered, community-based program serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and energetic Professional Peer Coaches to help participants build independence, confidence, social connections, life skills, and vocational skills. This is not a traditional office-based position. Professional Peer Coaches spend much of their day supporting participants in the community through outings, volunteer opportunities, recreational activities, life-skills training, employment preparation, and other meaningful experiences. Duties Provide individual and small-group support to adults with I/DD. Support participants with ISP goals, life skills, social skills, communication, vocational development, and community integration. Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information while adhering to privacy regulations and ethical standards Encourage independence, choice, self-advocacy, and appropriate decision-making. Facilitate community outings, recreational activities, volunteer opportunities, and skill-building activities. Provide coaching, prompting, modeling, and positive reinforcement based on individual participant needs. Support employment-readiness and vocational activities when assigned. Maintain participant health and safety while providing community-based services. Complete required daily notes, attendance, progress tracking, and other participant documentation. Communicate professionally with participants, families, coworkers, supervisors, and community partners. Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and compliance with RJT policies and required training. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation when required for assigned duties. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to communicate professionally and complete accurate documentation. Patient, respectful, adaptable, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Willingness to complete required background clearance, CPR/First Aid, mandated reporter, and other RJT training.
