- time, grant-funded opening for the position of Statewide Regional Coordinator
- Northwest (Tallahassee) with Department of Juvenile Justice .
Our ideal candidate will have:
A bachelor's degree or its equivalent and two years of related experience. A combination of education and experience may substitute for the required experience. Knowledge of training plans, curriculum, and instructional design and development, as well as the implementation and facilitation of technical, operational, and specialty training events and programs. Skilled in teaching and facilitation, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in operating a personal computer and related software, and in utilizing equipment required for the position. Able to assess training needs and objectives and to design, develop, implement, and evaluate responsive programs and initiatives, including training plans, curricula, and methodologies. Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Skilled in managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing responsibilities with high attention to detail. Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word. Able to determine work priorities; plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments; solve problems; and make decisions. Able to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to fiscal data and operational analysis activities. Skilled in developing and organizing data in logical formats for reports, proposals, and other written documents. Able to work independently and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Skilled in researching, analyzing, and interpreting state and federal laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Able to utilize problem-solving techniques and apply applicable operational and management requirements. Able to organize data for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials. Must be able to travel 2-4 hours away more than 50% of the time. This position must comply with the requirements set forth in Section 215.422, Florida Statutes (Prompt Payment Compliance Law).
