The Prevention Specialist will work as part of a team of individuals providing services in area schools. Their duties will include participating in community-wide educational campaigns and the delivery of evidence-based curriculum to 4th- 8th graders. Responsibilities and Duties Teaching, rapport building, communication with affiliated support personnel in schools and social service agencies, coalition building, community contacts, and planning. Qualifications and Skills Bachelors degree required. Prefer those with family or personal history of substance use disorder. Also requires excellent oral and written communication skills, ability and willingness to provide classroom instruction, professional demeanor and dress, valid driver's license, and great people skills. Candidates must be able to pass all background checks and have a valid driver's license.
