Batesville High School is seeking a qualified Work-Based Learning (WBL) Coordinator to help lead a structured, credit-bearing program that connects students with real-world experiences through local business partnerships. As a key component of our Bulldog Ready framework, this role ensures students develop the knowledge, skills, and attributes essential for success in college, career, and life. This position serves as the bridge between students, school, and the professional community, guiding students toward purpose through meaningful, career-connected opportunities. This position also supports students in meeting Indiana's Diploma Seals WBL hours requirement. This position may also work alongside an additional WBL teacher and provide instruction for our entrepreneurship course. Qualifications :
Education:
Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in education, business, or a related field.
Certification:
Valid Indiana State Teaching License or the willingness to obtain a Workplace Specialist License. Licenses in other fields or significant experience in education, business, or a related field will be considered.
Experience:
Experience in education, business, career coaching, or workforce development strongly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across stakeholders. Ability to organize, manage, and monitor multiple student placements and partnerships. Commitment to student-centered learning and real-world application of skills.
