Job Site:
Elwood Haynes Elementary School Hours/Days:
37.5 hours per week, 186 days (9.5 months)
Hourly Rate:
$14.25 per hour
Benefits:

Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one and in small groups with students. Provide transition support for daily routine and activities. Applicant should be able to work well with school staff and students of all ages. Applicant must possess the desire and skills to students with life skills and transition activities. Applicant must be willing to participate in training. Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; AND Have one of the following or willing to obtain to be highly qualified: Two-year college degree Passed ParaPro Assessment 48 credit hours of college level classes; OR Childhood Development Associate certificate (CDA) Kokomo School Corporation Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Certification Deadline to receive applications is Friday, September 11, 2026, or until filled. Posting may extend until position is filled.
