Job purpose The purpose of the Employment Service Coordinator is to help facilitate the employment process for individuals served at the agency. They support the employment team in finding meaningful employment in the community for the individuals we serve.
Essential Job Functions and Other Duties:
Maintains caseload list of participants receiving employment services, what services they are approved for, and a master list of where participants are employed Obtains work schedules for each employed participant Coordinates transportation for each participant to and from work. This includes creating a master schedule, communicating with the transportation provider, and being available to make changes as changes to work schedules arise. Obtains paystubs from all employed participants that SCS reports earnings for and turns them in to the agency bookkeeper Completes the Discovery Milestones 1, 2, and 3 for new employment participants, as requested. Fills in for other employment staff when needed to ensure implementation of all employment services, including: Follow Along, Job Development, Ongoing and Transportation services. Completes required DDA Employment Data for the agency 2x/year Ensures that all employment services provided are documented and attendance is completed for billing Attends meetings with the employment department Writes grants as needed Maintains required DDA/SCS trainings Must obtain and maintain the
APSE-CESP
certification within the first year of employment Qualifications High School Diploma Back Ground Check Drivers License Computer Skills Exemplary Organizational Skills are a must Physical requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 lbs. Salary $45,000- $48,667 based on experience and obtaining the CESP certification
