Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Community Development Coordinator/JOB COACH to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other social service needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to empower clients through workforce development, social services, and mentoring while fostering community engagement. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting diverse populations in achieving their personal and professional goals. You will serve as a vital link between clients, community resources, and employers, helping to create inclusive opportunities that promote independence and growth. Duties Develop personalized employment plans for clients based on their skills, interests, and abilities, ensuring alignment with workforce development goals. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to clients on job readiness, social skills, workplace etiquette, and self-advocacy. Assist clients with case management activities including intake assessments, progress tracking, documentation, and goal setting. Collaborate with employers, community organizations, and service providers to facilitate job placements and community integration efforts. Conduct workshops on topics such as addiction counseling awareness, social work principles, and disability rights to enhance client empowerment. Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office tools for reporting purposes and ensure compliance with employment & labor law regulations. Communicate effectively with clients from culturally diverse backgrounds and underserved communities to promote inclusive participation in workforce programs. Experience Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders in social services or workforce development settings. Strong background in coaching, mentoring, training & development tailored to diverse populations. Knowledge of employment & labor law as it relates to disability accommodations and workplace rights. Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations to foster equitable access to services. Familiarity with case management practices including client communication, documentation, and progress monitoring. Prior experience in addiction counseling or related social work fields is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication purposes. Join us in creating empowering opportunities that transform lives! From $20.00 per hour
