We are seeking an IIHS Qualified Professionals for an in-person role with the IIHS team We are searching for experienced Qualified Professional and seek those individuals who possess not only the professional experience, but also the personal and interpersonal characteristics needed to be successful in a challenging yet rewarding environment of working with IIHS children and their families. We are seeking individuals for a maximum of 20 hours per week. We Believe in providing the highest quality of Mental Health Care through demonstrating compassion, empathy and perseverance for our consumers and their entrusting families.

Summary:

As the IIH-QP, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating therapeutic and rehabilitative services for consumers enrolled in IIH. Your role involves the execution and coordination of services by the PCP, ongoing assessment of the client's needs, ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of intervention, and ongoing measurement of client outcomes. You will provide case management functions, supportive counseling, and skill-building interventions and oversee the implementation of interventions by the PCP. You will also support and contribute to the client system, families, schools, and community agencies. Throughout your role, you will receive direct support and guidance from the Supervisor of Intensive In-Home Services, providing you with the reassurance and confidence you need to excel in your position.

QUALIFICATIONS

For consideration, the following minimum qualifications must be met. Graduate of a college or university with a master's degree in a human service field with less than one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated

MH/DD/SA

experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional with less than one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling. Or Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a human service field with less than two years of full-time, post-bachelor degree accumulated

Or Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a field other than human services with less than four years of full-time, post-bachelor degree accumulated

And 1. Knowledge of child and adolescent mental health/substance abuse disorders and consistent treatment approaches. 2. Ability to implement and then convey therapeutic interventions, outcomes, and consumer progress on progress notes. 3. Obtain and maintain all certification/training requirements 4. Knowledge of a systems approach to care provision and ability to apply this approach within Intensive In-Home service. 5. Advanced skills in PC/Word processing/database/spreadsheets/systems and integrating the advanced skills to produce complex reports and documents. 6. Ability to apply therapeutic techniques. Ability to use sound professional judgment and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Follow directions of the Lead Therapist/Clinical Director to engage with IIH-supported individuals and families about appropriate contact and delivery of service  Enter notes into the system immediately following contact with individual and collateral contacts  Attend weekly staff meetings to shift the direction of the service when and if necessary  Document all pertinent information and demographic changes as directed  Perform duties aligned with your credentials throughout the service delivery for Intensive In-home  Collaborate with referrals and resources to effectively link to needed treatment services.  Meet required billing targets and complete all documentation within assigned time frames.  Other duties as assigned Competence shall be demonstrated by exhibiting core skills, including: 1. OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES

If providing transportation, staff must have a valid North Carolina or other state valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and acceptable automobile liability insurance. Must be at least 18 years of age; Meet the educational requirements as defined by the job title; Ability to learn and use personal computers; Ability to understand word processing and specific spreadsheet programs; Must be dependable, reliable, and effectively able to deliver the services; Must complete training within the defined timelines as may be required or amended by agency policy. Organizational and communication skills must be fostered by teamwork.

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
