Join our team as an Academic Pathway Advisor and be a driving force in shaping brighter futures for youth in Nebraska. As the Academic Pathway Advisor , you will: Recruit, advise and support students in the program and monitor their success. Build relationships with school counselors, families and community partners within the Lincoln/Waverly surrounding area. Host interactive workshops, provide one-on -one advising, tutoring, and facilitate enrichment programs. Assist int the planning and execution of the summer program. Regular travel within the service area is required.

Two years of experience working in an academic and/or social setting with low-income students. Demonstrated experience designing curriculum and/or workshops students. Ability to develop educational programming related to career exploration, financial literacy, and post-secondary preparation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have a valid driver's license and meet the University driver eligibility requirements. (Ability to drive the University 12 passenger vans) Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in education, psychology/counseling, or a related field. Previous TRIO experience. Experience in an educational setting with middle-school and/or high school students. Demonstrated experience with managing and maintaining student records. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with families and educators—including but not limited to parents, community and school leaders, and alumni.
