Job Description

Sterling Medical is seeking a qualified Mindfulness Coach to support a Human Performance program for Airmen assigned to the 621st Contingency Response Wing. This position will support Airmen in improving mental performance, resilience, stress management, and readiness for demanding operational environments. Position Responsibilities The Mindfulness Coach will: Provide mindfulness and human performance coaching to Airmen Support cognitive resilience and performance under stress Provide strategies for stress and fatigue management Conduct individualized and group coaching sessions Develop performance strategies tailored to the needs of Airmen and their missions Participate in Human Performance activities and support overall readiness Work with other Human Performance professionals as part of an integrated program Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or Counseling Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Comfortable working in a field environment, including darkness and inclement weather Must be a U.S. citizen Schedule & Work Environment The position is primarily performed during the military working day, with an expected 8-hour workday. Nonstandard hours may occasionally be required based on mission needs. The position will be performed at and around Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. Travel within the continental United States may occasionally be required for meetings, conferences, or training.
