Job Description

La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is an FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. For over 40 years, La Clinica has provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. To empower and enrich families, individuals, and communities by providing quality medical, dental, behavioral health and educational service for people of all cultures. Non-Exempt $21.05
Job Summary:
The Behavioral Management Specialist is responsible providing direct services to those individuals on their case load. In addition, behavior management specialist is responsible for referring clients to appropriate services.

Meets specified deadlines and manages time effectively, Self-starter must have the ability to work independently and follow-up on all work assignments. Exemplary organizational skills. Familiarize with all personnel, company, and program policies. Aptitude for dealing with people; strong problem solving abilities; emotional identification with another. Maintains confidentiality and discretion as a rule. Models respect, understanding and appreciation for all people. Exhibits skills in comprehending interpreting and supporting positions of the organization. Ability to succeed in and contribute to a team environment. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure without losing sight of objectives. Must be able to work as a team and communicate effectively with others.
Job Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older per Program Regulations High school diploma or G.E.D and one or more of the following: (a) Two years' experience working with clients and adolescents with severe psychological/ emotional disturbances/neurobiological disorders; or (b) Two years of post-secondary education in a human service related field; or (c) A minimum of 40 hours of documented training (20 hours of pre-service training + 20 hours additional training within 90 days)
