VIA is seeking a per diem Job Coach. This position is primarily responsible for providing guidance, support, and feedback to individuals who are blind/visually impaired at their training/work sites and to objectively document performance.
Essential Functions:
Coach, teach, monitor and provide support to individual at their work site Provide individualized training to assist in the mastering of their assigned job duties Identify and communicate potential barriers to the success of the individual Provide guidance in learning to integrate with other employees and the work environment Assist in developing and enhancing communication with other employees and supervisor(s) Assist in developing necessary soft skills to be successful in the workplace Provide detailed and objective documentation of performance, establish short-term goals for improvement, monitor progress and provide regular feedback in accordance with established department/agency guidelines Celebrate successes and identify areas for growth in order to be successful in the workplace Communicate regularly with VIA staff

Qualifications:
