Full-Time Posting Detail Information Position Summary The Division of Student Life invites applications for the Student Staff Coordinator role within the Career Design Center . Reporting to the Associate Director, Operations & Special Events, you own the full talent lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding through ongoing coaching, professional development, and performance assessment — for a diverse team of peer coaches, graduate assistants, interns, and experience ambassadors.
Your responsibilities include:
Lead the full talent lifecycle for a 15+ student workforce, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, payroll coordination, training, coaching, and performance development. Design and deliver learning and development programs that integrate Life Design, professional development, role-specific competencies, and required institutional training. Build a structured student employee development experience through learning resources, individual development plans, competency-based milestones, and ongoing performance assessment. Develop and continuously improve training content and learning experiences creating an inclusive, high-impact student employment experience that builds belonging, transferable skills and career readiness. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree. A degree in training, talent development, HR, or a related field. Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating professional development or training programs. Experience with instructional content development — guides, curricula, presentations, or SOPs. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills. Experience working with diverse teams and a genuine commitment to inclusive, people-centered support. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field. Experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring early-career professionals or student employees. Background in HR processes — onboarding, performance management, or compliance training coordination. Familiarity with life design, career development theory, or student success frameworks. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing training materials or facilitation guides.
