Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Client Success Coach for Employment Services empowers adult learners by delivering career coaching, facilitating connections with employer partners, and supporting access to external opportunities, resources, and services that promote economic advancement. The Coach will guide clients through every phase: onboarding, readiness training, employer engagement, placement, and post-placement follow-up, ensuring seamless transitions from education to employment and continued career development. This role is central to connecting learners with regional employment and advancement opportunities, as well as collaborating across agency teams. This position reports to the Business Solutions Manager, who oversees employer engagement, program placement, and team coordination across the Client Success team.Responsibilities:
- Utilize our structured and approved curriculum to conduct engaging and comprehensive career development training.
- Collaborate with leadership to design supplementary curriculum that meets the evolving needs of students and our valued employer partners.
- Kick off new classes with enthusiasm. Onboard and engage new students effectively to set them up for success.
- Facilitate remediation workshops and individual coaching sessions, providing the extra support students need outside the classroom.
- Maintain and complete all necessary records and reports with precision, ensuring the seamless operation of our program.
- Foster strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including our esteemed employer partners.
- Be a part of agency meetings, committees, and contribute to special projects that add vibrancy to our community.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay at the forefront of the career coaching field.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Deliver engaging career development training using structured curriculum and supplemental materials tailored for adult learners and aligned with employer partner needs.
- Actively onboard and engage new program participants, supporting them through orientation and enrollment, and maintaining accurate records of program eligibility, enrollment, and progress.
- Conduct individualized and group coaching sessions, career counseling, and remediation workshops to address barriers to employment and facilitate goal achievement.
- Cultivate relationships with employers and community organizations to facilitate placement opportunities, job leads, and career advancement, working in coordination with the Business Solutions Manager and the Client Success Team.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to connect students with employers, advocacy organizations, training providers, and community resources, attending events and promoting Guild programs externally.
- Support students in navigating external support services, including financial support, skill development opportunities, and wraparound resources for economic advancement.
- Provide ongoing follow-up and job search support for alumni, including conducting monthly and quarterly outreach for at least one year post-graduation, and contributing to an alumni network.
- Accurately record and maintain all required documentation and data, update the CRM system, and provide timely reports to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate proactively with Business Solutions Manager, Career Coaches, other Client Engagement Specialists, and other organization stakeholders for holistic, seamless candidate support from readiness to employer placement.
- Participate in internal meetings, special projects, and committees, and offer feedback regarding client barriers, trends, successes, and community needs.

- Be the go-to person for student questions and issues, providing them with the support they need.
- Offer ongoing individual career counseling to guide students towards their goals.
- Ensure timely and accurate data management in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the Client Success Coach to provide assessments and feedback to students.
- Accompany students to various engagement activities, including site visits, mock interviews, networking events, and lunch and learns with employer partners.
- Provide Alumni Network support to ensure a seamless transition for our graduates into the workforce.
- Collaborate with the Client Success team to offer ongoing job search support to recent alumni.
- Cultivate relationships with potential and current employers, working closely with the Client Success Coach.
- Provide valuable feedback to internal partners regarding student barriers, trends, and successes.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly follow-up services to both employed and unemployed alumni for one year following graduation.
- Manage results against performance goals and contribute to a culture of empowerment and success within Guild programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, workforce development, human services, or closely related field OR 2-3 years of direct experience coaching adults towards career advancement; experience working with high-barrier populations preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in employer engagement, workforce development, or outreach coordination.
- Intermediate computer proficiency and capacity for accurate recordkeeping and data entry.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for external events and visits.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including select evenings and weekends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in multiple languages preferred.
- Patient, empathetic, and equitable approach in meeting clients where they are; commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
