What You'll Do:
Coordinate regional implementation of Industry-Recognized Credential (IRC) deliverables across the CPSN-West region in collaboration with network leadership.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Ohio's Industry-Recognized Credential requirements, graduation pathways, and Department of Education & Workforce (DEW) guidance. Analyze and evaluate regional credential data for students with disabilities to identify gaps and track progress. Provide direct outreach, technical assistance, coaching, and consultation to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and Career-Technical Planning Districts (CTPDs). Assist districts in identifying barriers and redesigning credential pathways to increase access and completion for students with disabilities. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate quarterly regional convenings, professional development, and webinars for district leaders and educators. Develop, adapt, and distribute tools, implementation guides, and promising practices throughout the region. Maintain accurate records of district engagement, monitor deliverable progress, and coordinate data reporting required by DEW.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in education, special education, career-technical education, educational leadership, workforce development, counseling, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of successful experience in education, CTE, special education, school improvement, or workforce development preferred. Strong knowledge of career pathway systems, industry-recognized credentials, work-based learning, and business/industry partnerships. Demonstrated ability to interpret credential/program data and translate state guidance into practical district strategies. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, facilitation, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with school leaders, teachers, postsecondary partners, and community stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital collaboration tools. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the CPSN-West region. Satisfactory fingerprinting and criminal records check results (provided for free by MCESC!).
