Pay:
$15.00 Hourly (Without a bachelor's degree) $25.00 Hourly (With a bachelor's degree) |
Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday 5:30pm-8:30pm (Schedule may vary based on business needs.) Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.
Primary Tasks:
1. Meets regularly with students requiring academic improvement, organization techniques, providing assistance in a better understanding of a specific subject, developing basic skills and study skills, with or without computer-aided instruction. 2. Provide guidance to students in developing positive attitudes, self-confidence, and high level of motivation. 3. Assist students with college and financial aid applications by providing clarifications and explanations for questions, gathering required documents, and step-by-step instructional help. 4. Assist students with ACT prep in all areas of test and providing assistance in a better understanding is what is expected on the test. 5. Assist students and Jones Academy College/Career Counselor with FAFSA and Oklahoma Promise applications by collecting needed documentation, step-by-step guidance, and application review. 6. Verify and track attendance by making sure students sign in and out on the sheets provided. 7. Observe student understanding of the subject matter and provide assistance. 8. Contribute to the planning and implementation of periodic college/career nights. 9. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
