Position Summary:
The Job Coach supports and empowers individuals with disabilities to achieve independence and meaningful employment. This role provides hands-on job readiness training, placement support, and continuous job coaching to help individuals succeed in competitive employment environments.
Job Requirements:
Must be able to successfully obtain all three clearances (PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances) Must be able to pass a physical, TB test, and full drug test Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with special needs Valid Driver's License Reliable transportation to get to and from assigned job sites
Key Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with disabilities in maintaining employment through tailored job readiness and skills training. Deliver individualized Supported Employment Services, including: o Needs assessments o On-site job coaching and training o Task analysis o Ongoing support and follow-up services Serve as a liaison among the employer, the client, and TEC, ensuring effective communication and a smooth transition into the workplace. Provide one-on-one coaching to meet employer expectations, followed by gradual reduction in support (systematic fading). Monitor and evaluate job performance in various employment settings (volunteer, trial, or competitive). Complete reports that accurately represent each client's performance. Complete daily performance evaluations with input from the employer and review them with the employee. Complete reports and submit within the requested timeframes Collaborate with Employment Specialists to ensure continuity and effectiveness of support services. Attend required staff meetings and ongoing training sessions. Perform other duties as assigned by the TEC Executive Director.
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.65 per hour
