Job Description
Join a team that changes lives. EA Family Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Wraparound Family Specialist to support children, youth, and families throughout the Oroville/Chico area . As a nonprofit foster family agency serving Northern California for more than 40 years, EA Family Services is committed to creating safe, nurturing environments for foster youth and supporting young adults as they transition successfully into adulthood. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping families build stability, strengthen relationships, and access the resources they need to thrive. What You'll Do As a Wraparound Family Specialist, you will work directly with families to provide individualized support and help prevent crises from escalating.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing crisis prevention and safety plans Providing 24/7 support and intervention to help stabilize family dynamics Connecting families with community resources, natural supports, and services Collaborating with therapists and treatment team members to reinforce and practice therapeutic interventions Supporting families in building skills, resilience, and long-term success Maintaining documentation and participating in team meetings as required What We're Looking For Qualified candidates will possess: A high school diploma or equivalent A combination of professional experience and personal lived experience that supports effective engagement with children, youth, and families Certification, training, and/or experience in family engagement, behavioral support, trauma-informed care, or a related field Strong communication, relationship-building, and crisis intervention skills A commitment to serving families with empathy, respect, and a strengths-based approach Compensation Starting wage: $24.00 per hour Higher starting rate may be available based on education, relevant experience, certifications, and qualifications Why EA Family Services?
