SLCC's enriching Development Student Ambassador Program provides students from diverse fields and backgrounds the opportunity to learn about these fields through collaboration with the SLCC Development Office. This unique experience offers an insider's look into the complexities of higher education by working alongside Development Officers in the areas of corporate and foundation relations, development, planned giving, donor relations, scholarships, advancement services and stewardship. Students gain practical knowledge and skills that enrich their social and academic experiences while honing leadership skills and building a professional network. They must have excellent communication skills, be adaptable to a variety of different tasks, and possess a genuine excitement about SLCC's missionGood communication skills, experience working with Microsoft Office, especially word and excel.
