We have an immediate opening for a full-time (40 hours/week) Residential Support Specialist II in our Assisted Living program in Fairfax, VA.

RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST II
Engages in ongoing clinical assessments, formulates accurate diagnostic impressions based on the DSM, and adapts services and interventions accordingly Partners effectively with individuals in the development of mutually agreed upon goals, and in the evaluation and implementation of individualized service plans Provides individual and group counseling Assists individuals in learning independent living skills including, but not limited to, self medication, money management, meal planning and preparation, symptom management, use of public transportation, personal care, interpersonal and communication skills, vocational and leisure skills, problem-solving and community integration activities. Responsible for care coordination of assigned individuals to include referrals and supporting the individual's access to available resources Responsible for establishing and maintaining cooperative and collaborative relationships with individuals' families, other providers, professional agencies and other community members
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field. Professional experience in MH and SUD assessments and service planning. Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a driving record check and criminal background check. Pathway Homes is a drug free workplace and an equal opportunity employer.
