Job Description

Milestone Treatment Center is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist to observe and monitor patients in treatment and reporting duties as assigned by the direct supervisor. This is a non-clinical role, but as the Recovery Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals in recovery from Substance Abuse and Mental Health. Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Knowledgeble of all stages of treatment, relapse, and recovery Transporting clients to and from Clinical Programming Scheduling Flexibility Ability to AMA Block Redirecting clients out of group Observe daily activity and perform routine audits Perform randomized and scheduled UDS's and Breathalyzers Understand and follow all State and Federal HIPPA Laws Remains calm under pressure Oversee cleanliness of properties Ensuring client safety - including, but not limited to having crisis intervention training and reporting all potential hazardous situations Collect and record data on client progress Completing tasks as requested by assigned Supervisor Qualifications Experience or education in substance abuse or related fields is preferred. Clean driving record Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards is essential. Skills in crisis intervention and patient care are necessary for success in this role. Experience in addiction counseling is a plus but not required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
