Job Description
Are you interested in becoming a direct service provider/ Group home caregiver? Our company is a small and positive work environment working with up to 4-5 developmentally delayed women. Looking for an attentive, positive, and patient individual to join our team. This position does not require experience, as we are willing to train the right individual. This is a Monday-Friday schedule, including mornings/mid day shifts, evenings till 8pm, and one overnight on Fridays (sleep permitted in private staff room with private bathroom) Pay DOE, $20
- 23 starting wage.
Caregiver job description and duties:
Day Habilitation job description and duties:- Provide necessary support to help recipient accomplish goals/objectives listed in support plan.
- Assist recipient skill development in areas such as activities of daily living, independent living, adaptive behaviors, and socialization.
- Complete daily progress notes related to goals and objectives.
- Assist recipient with personal needs as necessary.
- Transport recipient to/from work or appointments, or activities, etc.
Group home/ In home supports:
- Assist with the general care and well-being of clients.
- Assist with medication administration.
- Ensure group home and clients bedroom is equipped for safety.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement while prompting client to perform necessary tasks according to individuals' goals and objectives in plan of care.
- Assist individual with household duties including but not limited to; meal prep, laundry, cleaning/chores, etc.
- Accurately and completely fill out med logs, staff communication notes, therap notes, timesheets, mileage logs daily.
- Monitor and enforce residential house rules.
- Provide custodial services during shift.
Pay:
$20.00- $23.
