Each agency operates independently under the Visiting Angels franchise system, committed to delivering personalized care. Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to join our team in HSV. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those needing assistance with daily activities and health management. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care. Sign-on bonuses and weekly pay are available to support our caregivers' dedication and hard work. Duties Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) while respecting their dignity and resident's rights. Monitor patients' vital signs, observe health status, and report changes promptly to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation. Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans established by healthcare providers. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organization. Offer companionship and emotional support while engaging clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being. Experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, dementia, or Alzheimer's care is highly valued. Demonstrated experience in home health, hospice care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and first aid/CPR certification is essential. Familiarity with care plans, resident's rights, HIPAA compliance, manual handling techniques such as heavy lifting or patient transfers is required. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, or memory care residents is beneficial. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration are necessary for success in this role. $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
