Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to clients in their homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and caring nature will help create a positive environment for those you serve, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall condition, reporting any changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary requirements Support clients with personal transportation for appointments, errands, or community activities Maintain accurate care plans and document patient progress while respecting residents' rights and confidentiality under HIPAA regulations Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively to prevent injury during mobility assistance Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental health and reduce feelings of isolation Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers using appropriate techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training in patient monitoring and medication administration is preferred Familiarity with home health procedures, patient safety protocols, and resident's rights legislation Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often necessary for client outings or appointments Embark on a rewarding career where your caregiving expertise directly enhances the quality of life for those in need. Pay:
$16.50 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 11.0 - 20.0 per weekBenefits:
