Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to an individual in need of personal care services. In this role, you will help the client maintain his independence, dignity, and quality of life by delivering personalized care tailored to his unique needs. Your energetic and proactive approach will ensure a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment. Duties Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide transportation to/from day program to client's home Monitor client's health by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly Support with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs while respecting dietary restrictions Provide manual handling techniques to ensure safety during mobility assistance Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment for client Assist with medication administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation in accordance with healthcare standards Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly valued but not necessary Demonstrated ability to observe and respond to patient needs through patient monitoring and observation skills Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of care techniques such as resident transfer methods and manual handling procedures Familiarity with care plans development and implementation for individuals with developmental disabilities Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly valued Ability and willingness to perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment for clients Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers eager to provide high-quality personal support.
Pay:
Up to $22.44 per hour
