Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated to join our team as an Al Caregiver in. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a nurturing environment where residents feel valued and respected. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and specialized care needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about caregiving, possesses strong communication skills, and is eager to contribute positively to our community. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Transporting clients to doctor's appointments and/or errands is mandatory so you must have your own vehicle with insurance and a valid Drivers License not just an ID Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to ensure health stability Provide specialized dementia and Alzheimer's care, employing memory care techniques to support cognitive health Operate manual handling equipment safely, including Hoyer lifts and resident transfer devices, adhering to safe patient lifting practices Support residents with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and maintaining proper nutrition standards Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living or long-term care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, memory care strategies, and Alzheimer's disease management Experience working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments is a plus Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks with compassion Familiarity with home & community care practices or residential care home settings is beneficial Join us in delivering exceptional senior care by providing compassionate support that enhances the quality of life for our residents.
