Duties Monitor patients' health and report any changes to the appropriate medical personnel. Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Administer first aid when necessary and ensure a safe environment for all clients. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by providing direct support and assistance in group home settings. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to develop care plans tailored to individual needs. Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and physical health. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing homes or group homes is preferred but not required. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and first aid procedures is a plus. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or dementia care is highly desirable. A background in social work or direct support roles can enhance your candidacy for this position. Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
