• Weekends only Start date: 09/18 Job description Emmanuel Assisted Living Home is a small residential care home in Surprise seeking an experienced, certified caregiver for weekend coverage.

We serve a maximum of six residents. That means you'll know every resident by name, know their routines, and know their families — not a hallway full of strangers.

Our schedule is consistent:

the same three days every week, with Monday through Thursday free. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Prepare and serve meals; assist with eating as needed Provide medication assistance according to each resident's care plan Perform light housekeeping and laundry Document care accurately and report any change in condition promptly Provide companionship, conversation, and activities Qualifications Current Arizona caregiver certification (all state-required caregiver/HCA training current) Current CPR certification Current First Aid certification Current negative TB test Prior experience in an assisted living home or residential care facility (required) Ability to lift and assist residents and remain on your feet for a 12-hour shift Consistent weekend availability — our residents depend on the same caregiver each weekend Reliable transportation to and from work Must pass a background check Benefits Meals provided during shift Consistent, predictable schedule Please submit your resume along with copies of your current certifications.
