This is a leadership support position for someone who is experienced in caregiving, confident with communication, organized, and able to support both caregivers and clients in the field. This is not a sit-down office-only position. Our Care Managers are actively involved in daily operations, caregiver support, client communication, household oversight, scheduling assistance, and emergency coverage when needed. We are looking for someone who is professional, easy to teach, willing to learn our systems, and able to lead by example. Responsibilities Assist with creating and managing caregiver schedules Support caregivers with daily communication and operational needs Conduct regular communication through Microsoft Teams Attend and participate in meetings Monday through Friday Travel to client homes throughout Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and surrounding areas Drop off supplies, paperwork, PPE, and household necessities Assist with household oversight and caregiver accountability Help maintain professional communication between caregivers, clients, and families Fill caregiving shifts when coverage is needed Review care notes, professionalism, and overall caregiver performance Assist with problem-solving and conflict resolution in the field Qualifications Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience required Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Must be comfortable learning scheduling systems and communication platforms Must be easy to train and open to feedback Strong communication and people skills required Must be dependable, organized, and able to multitask Reliable vehicle, active insurance, and valid driver's license required Smartphone required Ability to travel between multiple client homes during the workday Current TB test required or willingness to obtain one within 7 days Home Care Aide registration preferred Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: A natural leader Calm under pressure A strong communicator Professional and respectful Team-oriented Flexible and dependable Able to step in and help wherever needed Comfortable managing difficult situations professionally Passionate about helping seniors and adults with disabilities Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday meetings required Some evenings, weekends, and emergency coverage may occasionally be required depending on client needs Pay Competitive pay based on experience, reliability, leadership ability, and overall qualifications.
