The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, and enjoys building meaningful connections while assisting with daily activities, companionship, and ensuring a safe, positive environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life while helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry Support clients during outings or appointments within the community, ensuring safety at all times Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to assist with mobility and prevent injury during transfers Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments with a focus on senior or disability care Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently in emergency situations Familiarity with working under HIPAA guidelines to maintain client confidentiality Strong skills in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and developing or following care plans Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs populations Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility devices such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Excellent communication skills for effective social work interactions and collaboration with healthcare teams Join us if you're passionate about delivering compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
