Work with an Employer of Choice ! Nu Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to make a positive impact in the lives of adults, children, and youth with special needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. Our services are mainly in-home respite care, supporting families in your community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead age-appropriate activities for clients with developmental needs, especially Autism Help clients with daily living skills, routines, homework, and self-care (e.g., brushing teeth, getting dressed) Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and families Be a positive role model and mentor

QUALIFICATIONS

Compassionate, reliable, and enjoys one-on-one work Stays calm and effective under pressure Able to perform essential job duties independently, with or without reasonable accommodation Active Home Care Aide registration with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Negative TB test CPR/Basic Life Support certification (or able to obtain before starting) Valid ID/driver's license and reliable transportation At least 1 year of caregiving experience, preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities
