Why Join Thoughtful Home Care Consistent weekend schedule Morning shifts Work close to home whenever possible Nurse-led team with 24/7 support Paid training Paid sick time and applicable holiday pay Mileage reimbursement Bonus opportunities Opportunities for additional shifts Professional and supportive team environment What You'll Do Depending on the client's individual care plan, responsibilities may include: Morning routine assistance Bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting Mobility and transfer assistance Meal preparation Light housekeeping Medication reminders Companionship and supervision Transportation to appointments and errands Observing and reporting changes or concerns to the office Requirements California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or ability to meet registration requirements At least one year of caregiving experience Valid driver's license Current auto insurance Reliable transportation Current TB clearance CPR/First Aid certification High school diploma or equivalent At least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States Dependable attendance and punctuality Prompt and professional communication with the office Ability to consistently honor accepted client assignments Reliability Matters When you accept a client assignment, that client and their family are counting on you to be there. We understand that emergencies happen. We are specifically looking for caregivers who carefully consider their availability before accepting an assignment, arrive on time, communicate promptly, and take their commitment to their clients seriously.
