Part-Time Caregiver -

CNA/Nursing Students Welcome Location:

$18.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

Part-time, flexible 4-6 hour shifts; evenings and weekends available We are a small, 6-bed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) in Fairfield seeking a dependable, compassionate part-time caregiver to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a CNA student, nursing student, pre-nursing student, or healthcare student looking to gain hands-on experience caring for older adults while working a flexible schedule around school.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) Meal assistance and light meal preparation Providing companionship and supervision Assisting with mobility and personal care Light housekeeping related to resident care Documenting resident care and observations Following resident care plans and facility procedures Communicating resident changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor Other caregiver duties within training and scope Ideal candidate: Compassionate and dependable Comfortable working with older adults Able to work independently in a small residential setting CNA/nursing/healthcare students are strongly encouraged to apply Previous senior-care experience is a plus but not required Must meet applicable California RCFE employment, training, health-screening and background-clearance requirements Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts available We are especially interested in students looking for a consistent part-time position that can work around their school schedule.
