Essential Functions:

Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document administration accurately. Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding. Drive clients to appointments, errands, and social activities. Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the care plan. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Follow all resident rights policies and procedures. Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the supervisor. Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Skills, Education and Certifications:

Alzheimer's or Dementia experience is a plus+ Hospice experience is a plus+ Empathy, compassion and kindness a MUST! Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of situations. Must be reliable, dependable and on time. Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Current Physical, PPD, CPR and First Aid. Reliable Transportation, preferred but not required. Ability to work under supervision of the agency supervisor.
