$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Job description: Looking for someone with 1 year of experience. Overview Join our dedicated team as a Memory Care Caregiver, providing compassionate, person-centered support to residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other memory impairments. This part-time role offers opportunities to work AM or PM shift , ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care in a warm and engaging environment. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure resident health and safety Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and maintain detailed medication records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems Provide engaging social interaction and companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Implement behavior management techniques tailored to residents with dementia or developmental disabilities to reduce agitation and enhance comfort Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines while maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Support residents during outings or community activities, including safe transportation when required Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or personal care homes working with seniors or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care best practices Ability to assist with ADLs effectively while maintaining dignity and respect for residents Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic first aid procedures Experience working with EMR systems for documentation and record keeping Strong understanding of long-term care procedures, behavior management strategies, and home & community care standards Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals Valid driver's license for transportation duties; experience with driving or community outings is a plus Join us in creating a supportive environment where seniors feel valued and cared for every day!
